About Me....
I'm a little crazy, but that's a GOOD thing! :)
Persephoni Leevena Moore
My name is Persephoni (Per sef a nee) Moore. This will be my second year teaching at Pine crest Academy. I graduated from Nevada State College Spring 2012 with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I previously have worked as a Daycare/Preschool teacher working with ages 0 to 10 years of age. I have a husband named Steven, whom I've been married to for five years now. We have a beautiful baby boy named Marsean Kingsley, who will be two years old in September.
I am a lover of teaching and children. I believe that knowledge is the most powerful possession in the world. The more knowledge a student has, the richer they become, not in wealth, but in life. I take my teaching and my students learning to heart. Teaching has always been my passion. Now that I have an opportunity to do what I have dreamed of for 16 long years...I refuse to treat my teaching, nor my students learning, as a mediocre job. I will cherish these days with your children and will do my best to fill them with the most precious gift of all: wisdom.
“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.”
William Arthur Ward
